Employee satisfaction

A 2024 UK poll highlighted that only 17% of British workers love their job.

This means that crucially, employers should be focusing on employee needs rather than just performance outputs.

In order to retain staff they should be treated as the heart beat of a company. Without this central function other business areas start to malfunction, which leads to further miscommunication, de-motivation and general low morale within the workplace.

Applying more focus on the needs of employees enhances productivity, lowers staff turnover and generates increased revenue and profit for the business.

It's important to recognise hard work and talent, encourage professional growth and development whilst maintaining the opportunity for employers and employees to provide an open, honest space for mutual and constructive feedback.
